Bronner the man at the origins of the history "The Lighthouse at the World's End", the objective of Pourquoi Pas l'Antarctique is celebrating the centanial of Jean-Baptiste Charcot's first wintering in the Antarctic (1903-1905). As Charcot did, we will strive to accomplish "useful work" and thus stir up interest and further knowledge of the Antarctic.
The project is composed of a wintering and two sailing trips in the Peninsula, with artists and scientists on board.
